See, that's what I thought was wrong. If I buy a title on Vudu that is not UV enabled, I should not expect to see it on FandangoNow or Flixster or what have you.

If I buy a title on FandangoNow that is not UV enabled I should not be able to see it on Vudu. That's prefectly understandable. Heck, I bought Gojira on there and was shocked to see it was no longer UV enabled, but it was my error for not seeing that.

But, if I buy a movie that's UV enabled....I should be able to watch it on any UV enabled platform, right? I mean, that's the plus of ultraviolet, isn't it?

(obviously, Disney is exempt on this since they do their own, weird, proprietary thing).
Life isn?t fair. There are two many reasons why titles aren?t on all services.

There are are titles that are both but only UV on one in some cases.

There me was some John Cleese money on Fandango Now had 1/3 of Vudu. It said it was UV on FN; Vudu only had the title but no UV. With UV dead that will never end up in Vudu unless they add MA later, because it isn?t now. Likely we?ll just get new MA releases that work in all places and buy twice, again.

From now only, only buy MA titles from other retailers, if you prefer watching them on Vudu, since those will be the only ones to port in. Otherwise buy on Vudu. You can try asking FandagoNow for a refund, then buying it on Vudu, but not sure how they are with refunds.

UV is closed, no new UV rights are being created anymore. You will have to use FN to view this title.

I decided to use the Disc to Digital of the dvd, paid the $5 to convert it to HDX. So I guess it has little 2 next to it on uvvu.com.

Fandango has poor service and I refuse to buy anything from them, I purchased movies from their vidity service and now I cannot watch the movies on my new Samsung QN65Q7C tv and they?re saying that it?s not supported anymore. My movies have not transferred to VUDU either, so I stopped buying from them altogether.

I got something similar. A while back, I bought the extended version of DaVinci Code on Fandango. It is in my UV locker, and I thought it would port over to Vudu. Well it hasn't and that was about a year ago. And I was thumbing through my locker and came upon it. So I visited Vudu and the title is in Vudu and is listed as "Unrated" Cut but it is the same thing. Unfortunately, it does not show I own it in Vudu. And it does not have a UV logo, so that's why it did not port over. However, it does have a Movies Anywhere logo which is equally puzzling. My guess that it is a slip somewhere because the rest of the movies in that series are all UV even the regular version itself. I dunno, it would be nice to watch all of them through Vudu.

Well, got another one. While I'm still waiting for FandangoNow to fix their problem with HOUSE of Frankenstein, I went and bought EVIL of Frankenstein from them on their 4.99 deal. Yes, it's UV and yes it shows in my UV library on myuv.com. Of course, here the same movie does not show as UV and does not port over here, which means it doesn't hit here or my MA account.

Sigh....Frankenstein IS a monster to me apparently.

House of Dracula (same deal) ported over just fine.

My love of old monster movies is causing you grief I guess. Sorry.
I know what happened with House of Frankenstein.
I purchased both House of Dracula and House of Frankenstein from FandangoNow. Both are UV. House of Dracula ported to UV and is viewable via Vudu. House of Frankenstein, however ported as SON OF FRANKENSTEIN. I found it by comparing my FandangoNow transaction history and UV library, filtered by retailer and sorted by purchase date. Son of Frankenstein showed as a FandangoNow purchase on that date instead of House of Frankenstein, which showed in FandangoNow transaction history. On FandangoNow, both titles are viewable - House (from my FN movie lib) and Son (from my UV lib). Vudu, which pulls purchase data from UV, ultimately displays Son only. I opened a FandangoNow support ticket, followed up by a call on May 30, 2017. To date it has not been resolved.
