Re: New feature request / Wishlist

Well, if Vudu carried Hulu and had a TV show for purchase that was available on Hulu, I'd probably buy the show. It's plain better quality. I find the Hulu stuff to be "OK" but not great especially on a big screen.

I agree that getting episode costs down would be great or even a rental of the TV show for say 50 cents or something like that.

What I really want to see is a season pass option so you can purchase a whole season at a discounted price...

I understand your point, but for me, vudu is all about the movies in HD/HDX (especially HDX, which is the reason i bought a vudu in the first place). HULU would just be a bonus. I can see where there would be a conflict of interest 'allowing' a service that provides the same shows for free that VUDU charges for, but (and this is just my opinion) i feel like VUDU should choose its battles. HDX is awesome, and they are the only game in town that offers 1080p, so why not give in a little and let us have hulu, im still going to rent movies for 6 bucks a pop, but instead of switching from input 5 (VUDU) to input 3 (media PC) im staying on vudu all the time. Its a hot selling point (I dont believe HULU is supported on any major devices - though i may be wrong) plus now all my friends who are watching tv shows at my place are checking out the VUDU interface and plotting to buy one so they can go home and watch 'always sunny in philidelphia' at home on their own VUDU box (and it seems to me once the box is hooked up, people WILL rent movies, even if they get their TV shows for free).

dang, im rambling... its late, thanks for putting up with my 2 cents

    BJ

I agree, I'm more than happy to pay for TV Shows, and support VUDU, although I'd like to see the price drop to .99 a show vs the 1.99 they are charging now, and I'd definately like to see ALOT more selections.

They're sorted by episode title, rather than show, season, & episode #. Please change it to the latter.

I guess you could say with Vudu you have all your OAR's in the water....

We don't alter what the studios give as far as aspect ratio and we do ask for OAR.

Yes. I mean they can only encode what ever source the studio supplies but most of the films I've watched are 2.40:1 (or whatever). They certainly don't crop everything to 16:9 if that's your concern.

All films are in their original aspect ratio - yes.
