Suggestion: If a user exits a movie after the credits have started, mark it finished

    Suggestion: If a user exits a movie after the credits have started, mark it finished

    It annoys me that my "continue watching" list always has dozens of movies that have been completely watched, except for the credits. I know I could just have my family fast forward to the last couple minutes before exiting the movie, but I shouldn't have to. The point for "the user has finished watching" should be set at the first second or two of the credits. Nobody is exiting the movie as the credits start, and planning on coming back later to watch the credits. I don't want to have to "continue watching" 10 movies in a row just to fast forward 5 minutes to the very end to clean up that list.

    I would like to add that this should be entirely OPTIONAL if implemented (via a configuration setting).

    The reason is that personally, I would NOT want this. That said, I certainly respect those who do, thus the reason to make it an optional setting. I often fall asleep or get up partway through watching and therefore watch movies or shows in pieces, and consider the credits part of a movie or show. Vudu is one of the few streaming services that plays things correctly by playing the way they should be (thank you!), that being from the very start to the very end without trying to out-think me by constantly nagging me about skipping stuff (or automatically jumping to another title afterwards,), an approach which I absolutely loath/despise/overtly-hate on other services.

    Despite my own opinion on this, I have a family member who hates watching things like the credits, so I do understand and respect that option. When I visit we always seem to have a friendly debate about it

    Clearly such issues are a matter of opinion. Therefore, since configuration options aren't hard to implement, they should always be a part of any such approach.

      Getting changes / improvements is hard enough. Getting them far configurable settings is even less likely. Best of luck guys.

        I generally watch Vudu on my LG OLED native app.
        If I select a title still in my "Continue Watching" list, I am given the option to "Remove from List" which I often do.
        Of course not everyone uses the TV's built-in app, but...
        If it annoys you that much, just fast-forward to the end of the credits.

          The credits ARE part of the movie, so you should watch them.

          That said, I've always wish they'd make it easier to restart a movie from any point, easiest way I've found is to use the chapter select screen (which isn't even real chapters, just the movie divided into a certain number of parts by the running time) and select the first chapter.
