TV Channels - Put your Series/Seasons/Episodes into a randomizer!

I'd like the ability to just throw a few shows together... for example...

...Friends, 30 Rock, The Office, Parks and Rec...

...and have the vudu app just start throwing random episodes out, automatically starting one after the other. You could get the ability to skip the episode to the next one.

There could be different sorting methods... for example... it could have a memory of what episode it has played so it doesn't repeat anything too often or soon.

It could play the episodes in order while rotating series, the series could rotate after one episode or after multiple... (example: Episode 1 of friends, Episode 2 of Friends, Episode 1 of 30 Rock, Episode 2 of 30 Rock, Episode 1 of The Office, Episode 2 of The Office, Episode 3 of Friends, Episode 4 of friends... etc.)

It could also just be a complete random scramble. It could maintain order if you are watching shows that need to be seen in order.

The idea being that if you are watching TV but don't want to be bothered to control the output then you can slowly build your stations by purchasing seasons of your favorite shows and adding them to your stations.

Am I the only one who would use this?

You could do the same thing with movies, scrambling together a station of action or comedy movies, etc. It would be like having HBO only you add your own movies into it.

There could even be a whole month of movies and TV episodes frontloaded that rotate out. You could move forward and backwards through the stations.

This would help to combat the fatigue from having too many choices... like right now I have about 1000 movies, picking one is kind of tricky. A lot easier to just surf regular TV til I find something I like on.
Working...
