Ok, just got off the phone with the Walmart associate I've been dealing with to resolve this problem.

I had her delete my order on her end. I cleared my D2D queue on my end and then created a new queue minus the Anchor Bay titles. She confirmed with me that she was able to check out without receiving the Missing UPC Code error.

I removed these Anchor Bay titles from my queue:

    Law-Abiding Citizen
    Traitor
    The Dead
    Pandorum
    Let Me In
    The Evil Dead
    Brooklyn's Finest
    The Crazies

I'm going over there this afternoon to pay the bill.

So here is my question... who would be responsible for correcting this error? Is it Walmart or Vudu?

I had them remove the Anchor Bay titles from my order and it still choked up. Now I've actually cleared them from my queue on my end and I'm going to try it again tomorrow.

The lack of communication and the miscommunication between these two entities is very frustrating.

I just did an order today

    Ninja Assassin
    Observe and Report
    Grown Ups
    The Crazies

    -- Error

Told them to remove "The Crazies".

    -- Instantly worked.

Completely an Anchor Bay D2D problem

I literally just got off the phone with another Vudu associate and he told me again that this is a Walmart problem and it has nothing to do with the Anchor Bay titles.

Now I'm tempted to remove these titles from my queue and see if Walmart is able to process the order...

Re: D2D Anchor Bay not working

Oh my god... I went through this exact problem when I went to Walmart last Friday and Sunday trying to get my D2D order processed. The UPC code error message was holding everything up and nobody would give me a straight answer on how or when the problem was going to get resolved.

At one of the Walmarts I went to, I warned the associate about the UPC code error and asked him not to stamp my discs until he could be sure he could check out without difficulty but he didn't listen to me. So I have a spool of stamped discs and I still haven't been able to get my order processed...

I probably lost about 3 hours of my time, not to mention the gas I burned on three different trips to the two Walmart stores. When I called Vudu support for help, they told me it was a Walmart problem and there was nothing they could do.

    Same problem

I didn't have time to wait, so I told them to take off Scream 4 and it instantly fixed the problem.

In the mean time do you think we could make a list of the new d2d movies?

I found the son of no one, catch 44, carjacked, Texas killing fields, spread and a horrible way to die.
Scream 4, Evil Dead, and The New Daughter.

the upc error is 551039496 if this helps it was the error for all 3 movies i tried to redeem
including law abiding citizen, the crazies and let me in
So is this something each store is going to have to call and fix? Seems like every store is having the error.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't planning to go to Walmart until after xmas (they use the same counter for layaway as D2D) but was thinking of making a special trip just for those anchor bay titles I want. Guess I'll wait after all.
