+1!!!!!!, me too......I tried it with CinemaNow...I was able to download one of my UV movies to my NAS.....was able to access the file via My Media Library in my WD Live Hub, did not have to go though the CN interface, but the file was in WMV format, in SD, it had a lot of artifacts( I purchased it in HD) and the sound was in WMV format as well( was not good on my home cinema)......I decided to delete the file from my NAS, but at least I got to see the ability to download to NAS storage.......

    CMON CFF!!!

What type of buffering issues were you having? I have Comcast and a PS3 and i was having buffering problems but it ended up being Comcast. My internet speed went from 15Mbps to 7Mbps and i didnt know until i did a speed test. After calling Comcast and getting a signal refresh everything went back to normal. BUT, even at 7Mbs i should not have been having issues with HDX since the web says i need 4.5 to 9Mbps.

I'm guessing this is going to be like how we would link a device to our Vudu account or CinemaNow, or even Netflix. We are just going to be able to log directly into our UV Locker?

Sony boss says while UV has 10M users, not enough are actually using the service.

But because of the silly 5 device limit, divide that 10 million by 3 imo. There are a lot of people with more than 1 vudu account! It's still a big number but it is not a unique user number.

Oh and the really dumb change how we can only have a constant link for 2 Vudu accounts but can have 1 main and 5 sub user account.

The reporter who penned the article did say UV has "been picking up steam in the past few months."

Big numbers and fast growth for UV will be good for the entire industry and help to further crack the once-impenetrable iTunes stronghold on streaming media.

Umm, no offense or disrespect but Steve Jobs is dead. Apple/iTunes does not have a HOLD on Disney. But they might have an exclusivity agreement in place that will eventually expire.

Yes, there is a strong partnership between Apple-Pixar-Disney, but Disney has already made TWO failed attempts to launch its own streaming digital service -- without Apple/iTunes.

    The point? Never say never.

Disney will sniff out all sources for increased revenue.
