    Preorder question

    Is there a specific time frame when preorder movies become available online prior to the store release? I got star trek into darkness and was able to view that 2 weeks prior to the store release. I saw where pacific rim was available on 10/1 which was 2 weeks prior to the store release. Is 2 weeks the normal time?

    Varies by studio and probably by movie as well.

      Hi I'm new and just placed my first order

      So do Pre Orders become available automatically at midnight.. The release day or is it just "sometime that day" it will show up in my account

        Seems to vary. Kinda sad these preorders are going down the tubes.

        Issues so far.
        1) If you buy it the first week its out you seem to be the last one to get your copy. Some taking over a month to get your physical copy even though you purchased and registered day one they hit the self.
        2) A couple titles now no real early watching even if its advertised as such.
        3) As before I buy most mine when I seen them first hit the self then it's really crappy to see them lower the price a week before release why not have the people who purchased early compensated? At the very least the roughly extra $5 a paid should insure I get mine rush shipped so its on time.

        Examples
        Despicable Me 2 date purchased 7/5/2013 for $25 was changed to $20 I received late but at least same week
        Elysium date purchased 10/8/2013 for $25 - also believe it was changed to $20 - not shipped yet
        Lone Ranger date purchased 7/5/2013 for $30 - not shipped yet
        Pacific Rim it was like Jun/July preorder for $5 more than it end up being later received 5+ weeks late.
        list goes on

        So these are really getting an F- from me they really need to fix the current system.
        And I finally learned my lesson they are not worth the headache.
