    digital to dvd blueray

I like the fact that I can purchase a movie like a month before it hits DVD, but I would like to have the DVD and blue ray also, being that you charge the same just for a digital copy. If I buy from Walmart I can get all three. Please think about adding this option, I hate having to buy a move twice to get DVD, blue ray and digital copy. Just send the video when released.

You are aware that Vudu is just the streaming provider of digital titles and has nothing (absolutely nothing) to do with the production of dvd's or Blurays whatsoever. Vudu is just like CinemaNow, Flixster and even the video bank UVVU that holds all the digital movies.

Nothing to do with the production or sale of movies. If they did their production costs would skyrocket.

It's the studio's decision to release a movie to Vudu (and other streaming providers) ahead of DVD & Blu-ray, mainly as an incentive to buy the streaming version. Except for the few titles (i.e., Frozen) where Walmart offered preorder cards that both let you stream it on Vudu early and sent you the DVD or Blu-ray by mail when it released, you can't have it both ways without double-dipping.

Of course you can always wait 3 weeks or so for the physical disc, which nowadays usually comes with a free code redeemable at Vudu and/or other streaming providers; no double-dipping there. Patience, young grasshopper...
