Yes they do. I watched it online the other day. I still can't believe that is broadcast. It was at least "R" rated.

Sure do. Although the episode on Spielberg's edits for "E.T" (walkie-talkies instead of guns, etc.) was more mild and one on "Star Wars" was more of plea to not mess with people's childhood memories.

              Re: Indiana Jones

Do we really need to request each new release. When I bought my box it had a nice thing on the front and back of the box that said something to the effect of "newly released movies are available on the same day as the DVD is released". Does this only apply if users request them or only from certain studios?

Yeah, what the heck? Its already released, why no buy or rent date? I cant even find it via search.

                  Re: Indiana Jones

Its not even showing on Directv PPV either, must be some kinda studio forced delay. From what the reviews stated, you'd figure the studio would want to get it out to everyone asap

                    Re: Indiana Jones

This was a "must buy" title on BD for me. I enjoyed watching it in the theater. And I actually saw it a second time at the theater which is extremely rare for me. Unlike in 70's and 80's when I saw several films multiple times.

                      Re: Indiana Jones

I see Love Guru hit DVD mid Sept and is now up for rent. Indy hit DVD Mid Oct, so maybe that means we'll see Indy in mid Nov.

Anyone know when Love Guru came online for renting?

The 30 day window is such studio crap, they really should get with the times.

I downloaded Itunes (ick) so I could use it to help with new release info. Indy is up for sale, but states rental is 11-26, one would assume thats when we'll get the HDX version from Vudu

Nothing official from Vudu yet on this, but the article at http://www.engadgethd.com/2008/10/21...ising-at-vudu/ says Indiana Jones on the Vudu in mid November.

                            [Excerpt from quoted article]
Now if only VUDU addressed the rest of our concerns, like the 24 hour window, the HDMI requirement, no lossless audio, and the $300 box that only does one thing.

I would also add to that, the need to change the pricing to $4.99 for HD (not HDX) titles.
