Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Falling Skies Seasons 1-3. All UV. None on VUDU... Need to be!

    Falling Skies Seasons 1-3. All UV. None on VUDU... Need to be!

    Seriously, major oversight...

    I've had UV rights for all 2 seasons since they each came out. Haven't been able to stream a damned one 'cause it seems like nobody has them available.

    What's the point of having UV licenses for them if I can't STREAM them anywhere or download them for offline viewing??

    Please get the streaming / download rights for these! I really want to rewatch them all with a friend at his place and have him have the ability to rewatch them whenever, even when I'm not there with physical media.

    Don't know why these 3 titles that clearly have always had HD UV codes have never actually been streamable since they were released?

    Okay, I think this has all finally gotten sorted out, mostly. Yay!

    Falling Skies appears to be available through S5 & to have UV cred through S4... Sweet!

      Likewise, I own Fallings Skies S1 & S2 on Blu-ray, redeemed the UV code, when these titles were released, and just checked Vudu again and these seasons still do not show up for streaming. I did check my Flixster account and they show up there as Ultraviolet titles/seasons. As I recall, these titles were only UV redeemable via Flixster and hence, have never shown up on Vudu, even though, supposedly, they are supposed to. Seems like I had the same problem with a few other UV titles that I could only redeem on Flixster but these titles would never show up on Vudu.

      I see on Vudu, it indicates these are UV compatible. I guess I need to get another support ticket going and see if I can get Vudu to recognize these (2) seasons. I have actually NOT purchased additional seasons of Falling Skies specifically because the UV on Vudu does not seem to work or is not authorized for streaming when the titles are redeemed via Flixster. Maybe it is now.

        You may have to have flixster reload them. I redeemed S1-3 on Flixster and all three showed up in my Vudu account a long time ago when they went UV on Vudu.

          Vudu support is always very responsive to problems. Here is what they are telling me:

          "Our apologies, but the movie ID's aren't matching up between your linked UltraViolet services, which is causing the content to not transfer into your VUDU library. I am going to send this case up to our Content Team so they can research your issue further. They will be contacting you as soon as they have actionable information for you.
          I thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions or if there is anything further we can do to assist."

          So, I'm in a holding pattern until I hear something further. It sounds like they can "see" the titles in my Ultraviolet account, so they know they are there. Not a big deal, in the short term, as I haven't ever streamed them via Flixster or any other streaming service anyway. So another week or two doesn't matter. I always use Vudu.

            A few things I had to do to get them to show in VUDU.
            1. Check UVVU.com and see if they show there. If they do then skip step 2 and go to step 3
            2. Contact Flixster and have them reload the titles.
            3. Unlink and Re-link your Vudu account from Ultraviolet.
            4. Check to see if the movies show up.

            It may take a little bit of time, but eventually, they will show up. I don't know why, but about a year ago, I had to unlink and relink my accounts to get any new movies to show up in the shared accounts. Then, the shared accounts would have to unlinked and relinked in order to see the new content. Doesn't matter if it is purchased from Vudu, a different site or a code redemption. Also, if any of the shared accounts add anything, I have to do the same thing. It's a pain, but it works.

              Thanks for the heads up! Vudu Content support is supposed to be working on this, so I will probably let that play out first and see what Vudu comes up with. If they can just fix it somehow working with UVVU or Flixster, that would be great! If not, then I will attempt what you have suggested. Thanks again!

                Not saying that Vudu support isn't good (they are great actually), but for the Falling Skies issue, contacting Flixster directly got the the issue resolved because I actually redeemed on their site.
