    Doctor Who

Took advantage of the Doctor Who sale. I have a question. Why is the Eccleston/Tennant Bundle only available in SD? The other bundles are available in HD.

Also, if the Eccleston/Tennant Bundle is ever available in HD, will owners of the SD get it automatically, since it isn't available during this sale?

It was never filmed in HD.

Of that bundle, only the last four specials were filmed in HD.

Doctor Who 2005, seasons 1-4 were filmed and mastered (effects, etc.) in SD.

The first Doctor Who episode to be filmed in HD was Planet of the Dead. Everything before that doesn't exist in HD.

Interesting. Since the other bundles were the same price (during this sale) for the HD and SD, wouldn't it be nice if Vudu upgraded those specials, for those who bought the bundle during this sale.
