"Peter's Got Woods" is the eleventh episode from the fourth season of the FOX animated series Family Guy. This episode featured guest stars Gabrielle Union as Shauna and James Woods as himself. This is the second Family Guy episode to be rated TV-PG.[1] On Adult Swim, the official rating is TV-PG for suggestive dialogue (D) and offensive language (L).
It was initially scheduled for September 18, 2005 but was aired a week earlier due to FOX delaying the broadcast of the episode "Perfect Castaway" over sensitivity for Hurricane Katrina victims, as the episode made many jokes about tropical storms.[2]
I guess I'll purchase that tonight and watch it.

I also noticed that Xbox Live has the star Wars Family Guy movie for purchase. When will VUDU get it? They also have the Stewie movie too, but VUDU has that one already.

Anyone ever see the SouthPark episode where they mocked Family Guy and all of it's digressions?

I think the joke was that the writers were a tank of manatees that pushed "idea balls" out of a slot to create the digression. So if they pushed out balls that said "Gary Coleman", "Dumpster" and "Restaurant", it became "Remember that I ran into Gary Coleman in a dumpster behind that restaurant?"
Yea, I love it when competing shows rip on each other.

I also like it when the show rips on the same network that produces and airs their show.

The first time I had seen this was with some of the old Married with Children episodes where they ripped on FOX and other networks too.

The most outrageous I've seen so far is how Robot Chicken handled their cancellation by Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network.

Futurama did a pretty good job too, when they were cancelled.

    Regards

The fights with Peter and the giant chicken are some of my favourites too.

Ernie the Giant Chicken - A human-sized chicken who holds a grudge against Peter. The rivalry between him and Peter is first seen when he gives Peter an expired coupon in Da Boom following which they had a long, destructive fight (the grudge may go back to a time when Peter accidentally bumped into him during a dance in "Meet the Quagmires"[29][30]). Since then, Ernie has appeared on four occasions, including "Blind Ambition" and most recently in "No Chris Left Behind",[31][32] where his name was revealed to be Ernie and it was shown that he has a wife named Nicole, also a human-sized chicken. His fights with Peter are very elaborate and destructive. Peter has won every fight to date and at the end of each fight, Peter walks off and leaves him for dead, only for Ernie to show some sign of life, implying that he and Peter will fight again.[33][34] Ernie's appearances are often random, with him tackling Peter out of nowhere or staring at him through a window mid-conversation. After the fights are over, Peter returns to what he was doing, injuries and all, as if nothing happened. He will also appear in the episode "Something, Something, Something Dark Side" taking the role of "Boba Fett".[31] Voiced by Danny Smith.[35]

But since it was recently remixed, I don't know if VUDU has the flashback that I'm referring to.

    But nontheless it's still funny.

The flashback in the modified version starts when Brian is roped to a post and starts chasing a squirrel. He get's all tangled up and asks for Stewie's help. Then Stewie says no way and that's when the flash back occurs.
