    Not HDCP Compliant Message

I know there are other threads going on with this subject. So maybe this is the wrong place.

    My situation.
Using an HDMI Matrix which then connects to my Samsung TV. It has been working great, and now all of the sudden I get this message.

? Is the hand shake between VuDu and my HDMI Matrix or between the Matrix and my Samsung?

I think, and I need to do more testing, that if I leave the VuDu on, things work OK. However, If I turn it off and later turn it on. I am getting this issue.

To resolve I have to power down the Matrix and then turn on VuDu then turn on the Matrix.

? Are there issues, other then power consumption, with leaving it on? I notice that even off there is activity going on across the network.

Even when the VUDU box is powered off (in standby), it still maintains a connection to the service so it can peer with other VUDU boxes and stay up to date.

As for the HDCP issue, the best way of ruling out the matrix would be to try connecting the VUDU box directly to your Samsung display and see if you can reproduce the error message that way. Would that be possible?

Certainly. I'll give it a try.

It turned out to be a cable issue.
