Hello All,
I am posting here to hopfully resolve an issue that I am having with the VUDU application with my Samsung BD-C6900 blu-ray player.
The issue that I am having is no matter what title and at what quality I am getting audio lag of about 1 to 2 seconds behind the video. I have done extensive testing and can't solve the issue. I have been on the phone and live chat support with Samsung multiple times and they insist that the player is not the issue but something with VUDU itself.
I currently have the blu-ray player hooked to my receiver through hdmi. I then have hdmi from my receiver to my tv. All dvd and blu-ray playback is fine as well as all the other streaming services (CinemaNow, Netflix, BlockBuster, Hulu Plus, and YouTube) with the blu-ray player. Also, all my other devices that I have hooked up have no issues either. So it is just the VUDU application that I having the audio sync issues with.
The thing that seems wierd to me is that I have no issues with the audio on my ps3 and using the Boxee application on my pc. So this makes me think that it is something wrong with my blu-ray player even though Samsung is claiming that it isn't.
Now, I have tried power cycling my router, reseting my blu-ray player and everything else you can think of but nothing has solved the issue. Samsung even did an update to their application store yesterday but that didn't work either. I am still inside my exchange policy so I might try that to see if it fixing the issue.
Here is my complete system for reference:
TV: 56" Samsung HL-T5687S
Receiver: Denon AVR-890
Speakers: Klipsch VC-25 (Center)
Speakers: Klipsch VF-36 (Front)
Speakers: Klipsch VS-14 (Surround)
Speakers: Klipsch SUB-12 (Subwoofer)
Console: 60gb PlayStation 3

Console: OnLive Micro-Console
Blu-Ray Player: Samsung BD-C6900
DVR Cable Box: Motororla DCH-6416
Power Conditioner: Monster MP HDP 2500
Everything in my system is hooked up with hdmi except for my cable box which is component/optical (all hdmi ports on reciever are in use).
Here also is in the info from my VUDU application:
Device ID: 0x134050
VUDU Version: 3.0.0(51262)
Hardware ID: SAMBBA01002399510E60
Widget Verison: 1.114
Server Version: 52607
My blu-ray player also has the latest firmware update (BSP-C6900WWB-1018.1).
Please let me know what I can do to get this issue solved. I am also sorry that is post is so long. I just wanted to give as much info as I could regarding the issue. Thank you all for your time!
