    NO AUDIO

    I recently purchased a new Sony BD player and activated the VUDU service. I used my credit to purchase a movie but when I went to watch it, there was absolutely no audio. I have the BD player temporarily hooked up to one of my older TVs but I am able to get sound through every other service on my BD player. What can I do? Please reply!

    What type of audio device are you using and how are you connecting to this audio device?

      Hi Jim,

      What model are you using?
      How do you connect audio to your TV? HDMI or Optical?
      What are your audio settings? Please try PCM stereo?

        I am just using regular composite cables. Standard Red, white and yellow

          My Blu-Ray player is a Sony model BDP-S580. I'm using on a standard SDTV right now using composite cables. I recently got a job in a new city so I am living in a hotel until I can get everything moved from my old house.

            Hi Jim,
            we were able to reproduce your audio problem with composite cables and reported the issue to Sony.
            It will get fixed with their next firmware update.

            Unfortunately this might only happen after you finally moved into your new house.

            Please contact our customer service so that we can resolve any credit issues.

            Sorry, I will let you know the scheduled date for Sony's firmware update when they got back to us.
