LG BD570 SD Audio Breaks Up

We very much enjoy the SD Vudu streaming through our LG 570. Our DSL connection is too slow to handle HD.

The LG 570 is connected to a new Toshiba 40-inch Regza LCD TV via HDMI cable and the SD streams are of superb video quality. On rare occasions the stream hangs up briefly.

The real problem is for every rental so far, there is a short period when the audio becomes garbled. On one occasion the break up of audio lasted pretty much throughout the stream making viewing unbearable.

I'm at a loss as to the TV/BD570 setting I need for consistent stereo playback.

Since posting this I discovered that Toshiba issued a firmware update for the 40XV645U television to address garbled audio over HDMI. The update is applied and I'll see if the Vudu garbled audio goes away on our next rental.

The firmware update solved the audio breakup problem. Last nights 2+ hour movie streamed perfectly. Vudu is a great choice!
