Loose Dolby Digital 5.1 if I pause, fast forward or rewind.

When I start a movie, my AVR shows Dolby Digital 5.1. If I pause it, rewind or fast forward, the AVR shows PLII C. The only way to get it back is to turn off the tv (Vudu in TV) and turn it back on and start the movie over. Why is this happening?

Mine shows DD 5.1 when it first receives the signal then shows DPLIIc which is being applied to the 5.1 signal.
Although I apply DPLIIC to everything so it shows up if I have DD 2.0 pCm 2.0 or anything between 2.0 to 5.1.
