Can you tell what fps your Blu-Ray player is set to output?
Even my lower end Samsung 40" LCD takes 1080P24. All the current Samsung models accept 1080P24. I think even last years models did too.

The monitor displays at 1080P60 but it will accept 1080P24 and use 3:2 pulldown to get 1080P60.

My 550 series 1080P60 Samsung LCD has no problem with 1080P24 from my VUDU.

I see now that the LN46A630 is an older set. It is actually a 1080P120hz set but with only the ability to accept 1080P60 which is weird.

      Aaron,

That's interesting. If his display is only going to show 60fps, is there any viewing benefit to trying to run the 24fps signal through the monitor?

I actually had the 46A550 before I exchanged it for the 46A630... Maybe I should have forgotten the 120Hz and staying with 550??

What is the native resolution of your TV? If the native resolution is 1280 x720, then you want 720p.

It depends on if one device does a better job with (inverse) pulldown operations than the other.
