    Hi there,

I just did a quick check on a LG OLED and didn't encounter any issue with this movie. Could you tell me about your setup? Which TV or STB are you using? Are you using a receiver or sound bar?

I?m using a Samsung 55Q7C latest firmware version reloaded VUDU app, with a Denon 6300H in a 5.2.4 setup for atmos playback. This movie won?t play HDR and has no sound in UHD which is encoded in Dolby Digital. When I switch my setting to HDX sound comes on and picture is comparable with UHD. Thanks

Despicable Me 3 is currently only available in 4K Dolby Vision (and SDR), and Samsung supports HDR10 but not Dolby Vision. We are working on adding more titles in HDR10 after our launch in November.

The lack of sound of course is not expected (both Despicable Me 3 and Geostorm UHD are DD+ 5.1, as are the HDX), we will need to investigate further.

Thank you so that tells me what?s happening on the other titles. Why does it have the HDR code on it. I know there is so many options that it?s hard to find a source that fits all. Thanks of your support as I have over 800 titles with Vudu and counting and love your service.

Also is there away to let Samsung purchasers know if there buying Dolby Vision or HDR10 movies at time of purchase that way we could get the UHD movies in disk. Thanks

In the movie details page, you can go to "More Info" and look under "UHD" - it will list whether is supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and/or Atmos.

We'll look into making it more obvious in the future.

Give this a try. Start playing the movie; Select the following: Menu-->Settings-->Sound-->Expert Settings-->Digital Output audio Format. Select DD+ if it isn't already selected. I've noticed that sometimes the DD+ option isn't selectable unless DD+ content is being output. If it's already at DD+, select DD and see if audio starts to play.
