    MOTO Z Force

    Just purchased a MOTO Z Force from Verizon. Uploaded the VUDU app, signed in and tried to watch a movie/tv/anything in both SD and HDX format. Screen goes horizontal turns black and then returns to movie home page. Nothing plays....ever.
    How do I get VUDU to play on this android?

        We are aware of a bug with our app specifically dealing with the Moto Z line of phones. We anticipate this issue will get resolved sometime in January, if not sooner. I do not have a specific ETA on the fix.

          Hey Vudu...I know you guys are working on it, but I just wanted to let you know that BOTH Moto Z Forces I own are having the SAME problem. There's got to be hundreds of us by now...or more!!

            I am having the same issue. I emailed tech support and it took a week to get a response. I was given the following response:
            Hello and thank you for contacting Vudu Customer Care,

            We do apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with our service. Please try the following in attempt to resolve the issue.

            Force close the app using the built in Android application manager. This is normally found under to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications on most Android versions.
            Clear the cache and data of the VUDU application. This is normally done under Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications.
            Uninstall the application. (Please note, any downloads that you have will be removed and you will have to redownload the titles)
            Power cycle the Android device. (Turn it off completely then back on)
            Reinstall the application
            Verify that the Android device is up to date with its software
            If this does not resolve your issue please reply with the following information (This information can be found under Settings > About Device):

            Kernal Version:
            Software Version:
            Build Information:
            Make/Model:
            How much space is available on your device:
            Mobile carrier if applicable
