    Xbox one issue

Hi, new to the forum, but not vudu. I have enjoyed the app on my Xbox 360 console for a year now. It is set up on multiple boxes actually. But we have three new Xbox ones and I cannot get the app to work.

Initially I download the application and it asks for my email and pw. I give and it says unable to connect to vudu at this time. After attempting 5 or 6 times it then takes away the option and gives a " Validating" load type screen and breaks all together. Any ideas on what I can do? The support line keeps trying to give me the steps of power cycling. But every other app (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc...) works perfectly fine. I was 1/2 hoping this was a global issue. But after reading the threads.... It seems like many are able to connect with no issue at all.

Have you tried deleting the application and re-installing? I would start there, we can add troubleshooting from there if you're still having trouble.

Hi dan. It took me a bit to figure out how to delete it, but yes. I deleted the application. Then did a power cycle. It still has the authenticating load graphic, then the Sorry vudu is not available. It will try to login initially, but once I try two or three times, it goes to the "authenticating" cycle.

Hi Dan. I did an uninstall. I then did a power reset. Still no change at this time.

When I install the app. The normal sign in option no longer comes up. It shows a Validating load circle for approximately 6 seconds and then gives me the below
"Sorry, VUDU is not currently available. Please try again later. For more information, contact VUDU customer support at support.vudu.com"

I am at a loss about what to do now. It is not my network. Vudu plays fine on my 360's and iPads.

I am having an similar issue where it is stuck with "Authenticating" for several minutes and then says it's unable to connect.

I have reinstalled as suggested with the same result. Any ideas?

It seems that you are most likely over the device limit. In order to add the Xbox One to your account, you'll need to remove one of the devices that was already added. We're in the process of changing the error message so in the future you'll know why you can't authenticate.

Dacius, you may be over the device limit. Could you try removing one of the devices on your account and trying with the Xbox One again?

I am having this issue also. I try to sign into my account on xbox one and it tells me unable to sign in using the provided email and password. I tried quite a few times and still nothing no loading screen just that message. I tried uninstalling and power cycling, still no... I even deleted devices from my account leaving me with only three devices... still no. Am i the only one still having this problem?

This sounds like a different issue. Could you give our support team a call so we can take a look at your account?

Is there anyway to change the layout from swiping to the side to scrolling down down? I have almost 1800 titles and it is a pain in the neck to swipe to the side to look for a movie. The PS3 app is much better I can see more of my movies on the screen and scroll down, it makes it much easier to find a title. I also did not see where I can sort my movies, is that possible on the Xbox one app? I hope there is a way to change it.

                            +1

I have a large movie library as well and the Xbox One Vudu app is unusable for the reasons you describe. It is ridiculous not to have sorting options.

Okay, Thank you for verifying that buddy. What are they thinking? The app is not good at all compared to the ps3 and other blu ray player apps. I am sure there is a restriction on the design because of the layout of the operating system but there has to be some way they can get around it. I am very disappointed.
