Exactly, would guess they probably don't care, since it obvious that it could be done, as Cinema Now has done it better. Too bad I already bought most my shows thru Vudu, but I'll look into getting them thru Cinema Now since they seem to have a better interface.

Though there hasn't been a change to the UI, there has been a slight improvement with the Xbox One app. When you back out of a selection you're no longer thrown back to the beginning of the row. At least it's a start.

I still have to use Vudu for my TV shows... which is the worst on the Xbox One App... I just want to be able to sort my movies, see more than 5 on the screen at a time, have a recently played section, and not have to take 5 mins to drill down to find one TV epsiode i want to watch. Just make it like the PS3 app, or like the website interface, and it would be so much better!

    CinemaNow, go download it.

    Any update on the update?

My wife got a XB1 (I'm a Playstation guy) back at the beginning of January, and I noticed the VUDU app UI is a bit cumbersome to use. I have a PS4, but I prefer to use it on the XBone since the system supports universal remotes.

Haven't had any issues with the streaming itself though.

Really? Vudu is now streaming in resolution higher than 1080p??????? Because that's what Netflix is streaming in.

    Re: Xbox One Layout

Good to see nothing has changed since my original post. The Vudu app on my XB1 is now, also, the only app that is having streaming problems. In fact it "scrambles" the picture and then stops playing. It also boots me out on startup and the first time I try playing a movie. Yes, it's wonderful. But, seriously, one year in on the xbox one and this ridiculous layout still exists? - not to mention the fact that it is in essence the same app as on the 360 which has been around even longer. Does no on at Vudu bother to use the apps they create?

I have no source for this information, but I wonder if Vudu might be working on a new Windows 10 app. Windows 10 apps will supposedly work on phones, PCs, tablets, and even Xbox One. That could be why it is taking so long for a new Xbox One interface. They may want to fix multiple platforms with one app. Just a hunch...

Hate to say it but I agree. The Xbox One is my primary device and Vudu is awful on it. I've seen some vague posts about possible changes coming, but they've had plenty of time and they don't seem to be in any hurry. Even the original Netflix app on the Xbone was far more useful. I've gone back to just buying discs. I'm not sure I'll go back to digital.

Oh man, I hope so. I really want to be able use vudu on my Xbox One and never have to think about using another device. My heart skipped a beat when I saw that "yet" snuck in at the end.

I have been having issues since xmas eve. I keep getting service not available and not enough bandwidth which is crazy because I'm on bright house lightning with wired connection on my own Motorola surfboard sbg6782-ac wireless cable modem comb. All other streaming apps are working great with no issues. We really need another serious update because I have over 900+ digital copies in my library and want to enjoy without issues please.
