Any news on Android TV app?

Is there ANY news on an Android TV version of the Vudu app? I know Sony TVs are shipping with Vudu, but what about all of us who own a Nexus Player or Shield TV? Every thread on this subject seems to just die, is there anyone from Vudu available to shed some light on this?

Cinemanow has an app available, but I have a fair amount of Vudu TV show purchases that I can't watch on Cinemanow, and if Vudu has no plans on supporting my device, I have to make a decision about where I buy my content so that I can actually watch it.

Same here. I'm moving over to Android TV from Roku. Just sick and tired of Roku. There are so many reasons (for me anyway) to move to Android TV. No Vudu Android TV app or even an internal hint it's coming.

I love my Vudu but going to complete the family transition sooner, rather then later.

Seriously there is a Vudu Android app just port / add Android TV compatibility, or at least say it's being worked on.

I can't believe not a single person associated with Vudu has anything to say about this.

I can. I reported an audio problem with a certain title almost a year ago. It took them about 8 months to acknowledge the problem, claim they will request a fix (it still isn't) and yet they still sell the title while the problem persists. This comment will probably be deleted because they've deleted other comments of mine pointing this out.

And I really don't see the difficulty in adapting the existing android app for the Android TVs. The app as it is, runs fine on Android TV, the only changes it needs are allowing HD playback, and allowing navigation with the remote.

To make matters worse, the new Sony TVs run andoid TV, and there's a working app on it. It appears to be nothing more than a web wrapper like the IOS version but why can't we at least have that? Seriously, can someone say ANYTHING???

Not one single response from Vudu. This is really pathetic.

                Y2Bogus,

We simply cannot reply to every thread made on this forum. We state that in the forum guidelines. We can't always comment on projects that we are working on for various reasons of course.

Thank you Felipe, I do appreciate your response. I just hope that Vudu understands the frustration that users like myself have. We love the service, and that's why we want so much to have the ability to use it on our devices.
