NVIDIA Shield TV sound glitch/chirp with new app in 3.2?

So happy I finally am able to watch Vudu on my Shield TV. It works great except when playing back movies, TV, etc there is a random loud chirp that happens on average about 5-6 times during a movie. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It's like it doesn't continue the audio stream and then glitches for that second and continues playing fine.

No other app on the Shield does this. Netflix, Hulu, SlingTV, or even my sideloaded Amazon Prime. I have the HDMI going direct to the TV and then the TV (an LG) audio outs to the Zvox soundbar via optical.

Any one else having this issue with Shield TV/Vudu? Is this a known issue?

Do you still get the chirp without the soundbar?

Ok, I tested this last night and switched to the TV speakers for a while (about 45 mins) and didn't hear it then switched back to the soundbar, only using the TV sound output setting. Watched a whole movie without hearing it once. So I doubt just switching it helped but I did have an electrician out earlier in the day who reset the breakers because I had random trips in the kitchen. Seems like maybe that fixed it? Still odd that this only happened in the Vudu app on my Shield and not in any other.

I will see what happens over the next few days and see if the noise returns.
