    Vudu Boots me Off?

Recently I have been having a issue watch Vudu on my DVD player. When I click on the VUDU icon it loads but as soon as the homepage loads it goes back to the previous screen and boots me out of Vudu? I have used to same network, router and TV...nothing has changed. Netflix works but not Vudu?? I have unplugged the DVD player to try a reset...did not work. I have unplugged the router, cable box etc...does not work?

    Hi,

What type of device are you using to connect to VUDU? Could you give the make and model number?

        Re: Vudu Boots me Off?

        is your issue like mine??

I took a video to help vudu debug it:

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS0R...Wf8fXQ&index=2

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDdG...Wf8fXQ&index=1

If it is, I have them looking into the issue.

The only work around I have found... is to deactivate your device, and it will load up just fine. Re-insert your login info and it will work until you close out of the application =(

We will look into this right away.
Can you please post your device ID's so we can look at your logs (or give them to me or our customer care in a private post)?

Any idea as to when this started happening? I just checked my LG BD and it works as expected. We will check on a WDTV live hub as well.

HorrorMonkey: is your TV activated? On Friday we just fixed an issue on deactivated LG BD's that were showing this problem. in that case the app just quit and went back to LG menu unlike what craiggers88 videos are showing. Can you please try again?

              Craiggers,

We have identified the issue and should have a fix rolling out Tuesday night. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions, please let me know.

                  Re: Vudu Boots me Off?

mine is similar to the videos posted but mine goes back to the "premium" homepage and does not continue to try and load the Vudu app.

Mine is still NOT working...just checked and it remains the same.

I can get it to work if I deactivate and then reactivate Vudu in my LG Bluray player settings.... but if I log off and try to go back to Vudu it does the same error

The issue w/ WD Hub only happens to some certain account with downloaded movies.

Please send me a private message for your device ID. What I can see is it's deactivated one and currently activated into your account yesterday.

Are you saying that VUDU App crashes and send you back into Premium screen when it's ACTIVATED?

Last Friday, we did fix a bug such that it could crash when it's NOT activated.

The bug we fixed for WD Hub when it's in activated mode should not impact LG BD. That bug fix is to roll out sometime this week.

                          Re: Vudu Boots me Off?

they tried a bunch of things yesterday but problem remains the same. I reset my dvd player to factory settings and then the Vudu app will let me sign into my account and will work fine....but when I leave the Vudu app and then try to get back into Vudu the problem returns...lol At this point I give up. the Vudu app is the only one that does not work. Nothing on my dvd player, router, network or TV has changed to casue this to happen on my end so I guess no more Vudu for me.
