Can VUDU help with buffering or is it the ISP?

I see many threads about buffering however, can VUDU really fix it or is it an ISP issue? If you call your ISP they seem to always say call VUDU.

Vudu can probably suggest some DNS entries to enter into your device that might help? Also, if you're using a Roku device, then unplugging for a few seconds and then plugging back usually helps as well.

Thanks. A buddy has started to get a lot of buffering. He called Verizon and they told him to call VUDU. That sounds like the standard ISP customer service answer.

Are the DNS entries specific to each user or some general settings

I think they use the google DNS but don't remember what they are. You might try calling them to ask?

It really depends on each case. We can make suggestions that sometimes can help.

Port Forwarding, Hard Wiring the device, DNS changes as was already mentioned. In some cases, I've dealt with, it's been a modem change, or the wiring in the house that's caused the problem.

Typically, if it's a VUDU issue, it's widespread and we'll know about it right pretty quickly.

              Daniel,

Can you elaborate on the Port Forwarding? Any suggestions / tips on upsetting it up? Thanks.
