What method are you using to limit the TV's bandwidth? Also, if I'm not mistaken, Vudu's UHD titles usually stream at around 15 mbps, so shaving off 4-5 mbps is likely going to result in a noticeable loss of video quality.

The LG C6 is connected directly to an Asus AC3200 router. The router itself will let me limit the bandwidth to the LG C6 TV itself when qos is turned on. In the times that I have tested, I did not notice any drops. I'll try and watch a whole movie and update. When bandwidth limiting is off, it bursts up to 30 or more. When bandwidth limiting is on, it seems to be at 10-11 range a whole lot more.

sure, watching part of King Arthur, no dropouts, and it looks good, not sure if it looks it's absolute best at this bandwith. I did switch between HDX and UHD, and UHD to me looked noticeably clearer. There were no audio dropouts. When I change the bandwidth limiter to 12 meg, the dropouts start up again, pretty strange.

You should see a firmware update from LG in the next few days that addresses this issue.

Thank you Jeffrey , the sound is definitely amazing when it works even at 11 meg with no dropouts and technically the soundbar I"m using does not support atmos, but it sounds great.

LG will begin releasing a firmware update to resolve the audio issue on their 2016 TV's. The update will be rolled out in batches throughout the week. Hopefully by a weeks time most user will have the new update. You can also apply the update manually by downloading the firmware update from LG's support website if you wish.

Thanks, Felipe. Do you have a list of the LG TV models that will be receiving this update? I'm assuming the C6 OLED is one of them, but I'm wondering if any other LG TVs are affected by this issue.

Also, do you know when the update will be posted to LG's website? For the C6 OLED, LG's site still has the old firmware posted (version 05.30.02 from July 2017).

Not quite sure what exact models are affected but they seem to be 2016 models if I'm not mistaken. I do not have an ETA on when LG will have the update on their website.

Updated software manually via USB drive, and removed the 11 meg bandwidth limiter from Router. Yay, does not appear to be any dropouts on the first few minutes of the Movie IT, and bandwidth is jumping around, also have 4 bars UHD , hopefully no more issues.

The firmware update did not fix the audio problem for me through the internal speaker on my c6.

The firmware is here (it should also update automatically as LG rolls it out - or you may be able to force a check in the LG system menu, which would be much simpler than installing via USB):

                              http://www.lg.com/us/support-product...ftwareFirmware

Click "Reference" to see the models.

Installed via USB on my C6 and everything seems to be working great! (*Knocks on wood*) Thank you, Vudu, for listening and resolving this in a (relatively) timely manner. I can finally watch my UHD purchases!
