MA originated UV eligible movies missing from www.myuv.com

    Hey,

I have been trying to get an answer to this question from Vudu and UV with no luck. Hopefully, someone here can help me. On Oct 13, 28 of the MA movies that was imported to Vudu was exported to UV. A few days after that, I noticed that stopped. Per, Vudu, it is because UV eligible movies that were sync from MA to Vudu can't go to UV. The only way to get the movie into both UV and MA, you need to buy it on Vudu. Ok, make sense. No issues there. But my previously synced 28 movies stayed in UV. Until late Nov, then I noticed those 28 previously synced MA originated movies disappeared from UV. Is anyone else noticing this? Do you know if Vudu or UV is retroactively going back to remove MA originated movies that were incorrectly synced to UV? Thanks.

Tl;dr 28 movies that I bought from Amazon was synced to MA to Vudu to UV. After that other future movies were not synced. Vudu said due to licensing it is not supposed to and the previous sync was due to an error. Understand. But the 28 previously synced movies stayed but now they are gone. Did anyone else notice this?

Yes, I noticed that some movies that had been ported to UV incorrectly were then removed. I don't have a count but I remember seeing some of them on UV and then being missing later.

    85 UHD
    860 HDX
    3 SD

Thanks. How do you know how many SD, HD, and UHD movies you have? Do you manually count or is there an easier way?

I have a spreadsheet that I try and keep updated every time I buy a digital copy of a movie or TV show.

I resorted to using the spreadsheet method as well. I lost a bunch of content when CinemaNow disappeared (even some UV stuff). Also, last year there was a UV glitch and the myUV.com site was showing incorrect counts and only a portion of my library.

So I used FlixsterVideo.com (which is way better of an inventory than myUV for UV titles - and btw is shutting down in Feb2018) and got an accurate count of what myUV was supposed to show and placed it all in a spreadsheet.

I am still spending (way too much) time updating that spreadsheet to include all titles I own on all the various digital providers. It does allow me to ascertain which titles I have exclusively on a provider and which are MA and which are UV as well as which titles have issues on various providers despite being MA or UV.

Back on topic of this thread. I also had a number of MA movies that ported to UV when MA first went live. Those titles then were removed from UV. When I inquired, it was stated that MA purchases that come into VUDU are not supposed to port to UV.

According to VUDU support, the MA films should have never synced to UV (as you state in your post). This just sounds like license reconciliation.
