Apologize in advance for wordiness as I am attempting to consolidate 2.5 months of exchanges.
I redeemed the HD code at Flixster Video as the insert instructed. This title was redeemed as HD and shows as such in my UV locker. Seems VUDU only had license for SD. VUDU passed the SD to Movies Anywhere.
When I discovered that it was SD at VUDU and MA, I asked for help from Flixster Video (WB) via online chat multiple times, Ultraviolet via zendesk, and VUDU via customer support January 1, 2018.
Flixster Video re-synced my account to UV and another time inserted the title a second time into my UV locker. Still issue at VUDU.
UV re pushed my collection. Still an issue at VUDU. UV forwarded my ticket with them to VUDU.
VUDU customer care has made many suggestions, one of which is that VUDU can work with WB to get the HD license. It was even suggested I reach out to WB directly myself. In my opinion I did that by contacting Flixster Video as FV was associated to WB while FV was still in operation. I am not sure how I can negotiate with WB to provide VUDU with an HD license.
I have 2 Help Desk tickets at VUDU (1 direct and 1 transferred in from UV 180101-000267 & 180126-000792) at this time along with 1 at UV (1001550 which transferred to VUDU).
All in all it has been 2.5 months of many exchanges.
I unfortunately feel at the moment that I am not a valuable customer in relation to this issue as I have been bounced around with multiple different answers and some empty "Sorry for your Inconvenience" replies.
There have been some encouraging replies that state this would be escalated to the proper department for investigation as to an HD license, yet followed by a reply that unless I reply within 96 hours it will be considered solved.
I am reaching out via this forum now to see if there is anything that can occur to correct this situation. I know the Mods here are truly helpful.
Please help prompt the action to obtain the HD license from WB for VUDU for Lorax 1972 so all of us that have the Lorax 1972 can have the HD copy on VUDU and MA.
