Thank you DanielH - but, why do you have to work so hard?

I am relatively new to the VUDU Forums, and I have noticed a few things. DanielH does a great job of tracking posts and responding to puzzled customers - Thank you. What concerns me, though, is why he has to do it so much. There are several aspects of VUDU that would be better served by a decent help section than by responding to panicked customers after they get into trouble. One area would be "device management" and the whole security/account structure in general. I want to play by the rules, but I am having a hard time figuring out what the rules are (and why).

My grown daughter and I share dvd/blu-ray collections and each of us have lots of digital toys. There is no way we can move away from physical disks until "ownership" of digital copies is clearly established, along with what can and can't be done, and what should and shouldn't be done. Logically (to me), I should be able to buy/sell/transfer my digital copies as easily as I can do physical disks. What do I own if bring up the internet some day and vudu.com is not there any more? Can Ultra-Violet disappear? What happens if VUDU and Sony Pictures (for example) have a fight?

Digital "rights" management is not just about the "rights" of the content providers - customers have "rights" too, but darned if I can figure out what they are.

there is only one case i can think of may be two that can explain the DanielH Phenonium you are talking about.
    1. HE is paid to do just what you see him doing. that is his job all day.
    2. What we see has one person is a whole department of people posting under one account.
    3. The person does not exist and it is just artificial intelligence
