    Captain Phillips redeemed in SD...?

I bought Captain Phillips in blu-ray steelbook... I didn't notice that it redeemed in SD until now. It was supposed to be HD. I redeemed it on 2/18/2014, so I don't have my insert any longer... Only the steelbook and J-Card. Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks.

Wow, I didn't even notice that when I redeemed Captain Phillips. I just checked and sure enough, SD. Is there anything that can be done to correct this??

Gnatevil, this was your response when I asked this in an earlier thread about a different movie..

"If the studio doesn't give Vudu the HD version, they can't redeem it as HD. This is not Vudu's fault. They can request a new copy but that doesn't mean they will get it. The Studios control the content and provide what they want."

See? Pretty annoying when it happens, isn't it?

Not really, because, if you look at what I said (up in quotes above) you will see that if Vudu doesn't get the HD (or HDx) encode, then they can't give it to you. This movie has all 3 encodes available. So, this is actually a different issue then what you had. (by your example in your question) (link to your question: https://forum.vudu.com/showthread.ph...D-code-with-it )

For my issue, I should have redeemed on the Sony site, but since I redeem pretty much everything on Vudu, that is where I went first. Other then that, everything is peachy!
