Movie Playback not working on Apple devices.

Last night I noticed that my movies won?t play on the Apple TV (I just get a blank black screen), nor will they play on my iPhone and iPad (all I get is the load screen). Trailers and Vudu extras still work, just the main features won?t play.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

Edit: It appears downloading isn?t working as well.

I'm having the same problem on my iPhone. I can get all the other trailer, extras and featurettes to play but not the actual movie. (sorry if this posts more than 1 time, I had to move to my computer cause my phone looked like it refused to post as well.)

I just watched "Annabelle: Creation" 4k last night on the Vudu app from the ATV4K and didn't have any issues.

We have our engineers on the case. I'll report back once I have more information. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm having similar issues on my iPad. I have 2 movies on the vudu app that I have downloaded and both movies tell me they are unavailable and can't be played. It seems to be spotty because it's not impacting other movies. I tried to delete the download wondering if something was messed up there, but now it is saying the movie isn't even available to download. I also can't stream it from the app. I'm not having the same issue on my iPhone and have never had this issue before on the iPad.

We have found the issue and have resolved it from our end. You should now be able to stream and download as usual.

Thanks, it looks to be working as normal again.

I am now having problems on my IPad Mini 2. I can?t watch any of the movies or tv shows I own, unless I download them. Any time I try to watch something without downloading, it says ?Network error, please check your internet connection and try again?. I can?t even watch the free stuff, it just says something about in-app purchases not available where the ?watch free with ads? button should be. All of my other video apps run movies and tv shows just fine.

                  Hello Vudu Networking Team,

Since about July of 2018, I have been unable to stream my VUDU content through the app on my Apple devices. I have reached out to the team a few times on multiple different forums, yet I have never received a response. I have about 4 or 5 movies on my account that I would love to access, but I cannot seem to connect to them via my iPhone 8 Plus. I also cannot watch any free movies with the mobile app. Is there any chance that you could see what?s going on and try to resolve the issue? If so, that would be wonderful.

Are you using a VPN or proxy by chance? Are you streaming within the United States?

Just bought Top Gun Maverick today. Getting message, “We don’t have a version of this movie on iOS.”. I get the same message on my iPad Pro , iPhone 13 pro max, Apple TV 4K and iMac. Any help would be appreciated.

Top Gun: Maverick has not been released yet. Once the studio announces the official digital release date, then you'll be able to watch the film.
