    Merge Accounts

i called customer support today and they said that they cannot merge accounts anymore as of two weeks ago. Has anyone else had the issue?
I was assigned a reference number and was told that they would escalate it to higher level support.

This is indeed true, no more mergers from now on. Can you give the the reference number so I can take a look for you. I cannot guarantee we can perform the merger.

Is this seriously true!?!? We have like 3 accounts because of different device headaches. I've been dreading calling because customer service experience are often not great so I've been putting it off for ages.

I had considered a suggestion from a previous customer service call (about the D2D Error creating/adding to cart issue) to create a 2nd account to get the titles to D2D and then merge.

I will not be trying that now.

FelipeF You have got to be kidding!! My father passed away last year and has a sizable UV and VUDU library. My mother intended for me to merge his library into mine but I just haven't had the time to look into it. Now you are saying that all his movies and investment are toast? I can still log into his account to access the library but it does me no good to have a completely separate library from my own so they really aren't useful unless I can merge them. Is there any recourse given in this situation?

I've often wondered what is going to happen to my vast Vudu collection when I pass away? Can you give your library to someone else if you can't merge it? They will have a completely different email so what do we do in that case?

I've asked about this before and customer support told me that the transfer of content is not possible due to thier TOS and studio agreements. I checked their TOS and it does say you cannot transfer content from account to account.

So I guess the only thing we can do is try to change the owner of the email associated with the Vudu account to another owner if we wish and pass along our Vudu password?
