    4K viewing

Did a search couldn't fine exactly what I am looking for. I have a Sony Bravia 4K tv with the Roku 4. I can watch 4K on Amazon and Netflix. On vudu some of my movies say I own SD, HD, HDX, and UHD l. I have the Roku set to 4K l, I have the display settings on vudu to 4K but when I play back said movie it only gives me the option to watch it in SD and HDX not UHD, am I missing something? Please help as to why it won't play in 4K . Thank you

You didn't mention the specific model of Sony Bravia 4k TV.

It might be the TV isn't compatible with the HDMI 4k requirements of the Roku 4 to display 4k with Vudu.

You need to make sure your TV can accept HDCP 2.2 input - sometimes only one of the inputs does, and some TVs don't actually support it.

It's a Sony Bravia xbr55x850a, I know it can not natively stream 4K but I can watch 4K through the Roku 4. It does have HDCP 2.2 input on port 4, like I said I have no problems watching 4K on Netflix or Amazon, just vudu, even though it shows that I own uhd

Did you ever get an answer to this or figure it out? I'm having the exact same option.
