    FandangoNow to Vudu

When FandangoNow merged with Vudu we were given the promise that everything available in FandangoNow that hadn’t been available in Vudu would be moved over so now all of both libraries would be available in the one platform. As it turns out, they lied. There was something I had been planning to buy from FandangoNow and they still had it available on their site the day before the merger. Since then it has never been available on Vudu’s website. I called and talked to someone at Vudu support about it this morning and all he could say was that those titles couldn’t transfer over “because of political problems” (in spite of the fact that I never told him what the titles were).

Maybe they were referring to things purchased on FandangoNOW would be ported over. Not titles that weren’t purchased.

I seemed to recall I had some movies that were 1) available on both but not MA and those ended up in my a Vudu and 2) Movies not available on Vudu but that I had bought on FN ended up in my library.

Sure I don’t think 100% came over; immediately. Some came over later. Some didn’t. But I stopped caring after so long.

Similar problems when UV went down, but I managed to get most of them fixed but it took weeks and hours of my time. I didn’t really bother FN shutdown so much. Not worth my time.

A lot of titles that were only on FNow never ported over, no matter if you had bought them or not. They just didn't transfer over, even though we were assured everything would. I can understand titles not being for sale after the move, but everything should have transferred over to their Vudu platform. I wonder what these "political" problems are? LOL

Still, titles that DID port over still don't play even if you OWN them. (Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, Season 1, even though it plays fine on an iPhone!).

I'm still waiting for them to properly merge my two accounts. Countless phone calls and, at this point, hours spent on hold. Still nothing. It's been months.
