    Unable to play back HDX

    I'm not sure when this started, as I usually have used my Vizio TV, but when sitting at my PC, I like to have a movie or so going. But I'm unable to play anything in other than SD. I've tried Microsoft Edge (which says its supported for HDX) but get:

    Playback error: Unable to stream at this time. Please try a different browser.

    Obviously it doesn't work in Chrome or Opera. Safari is out of the question since Apple doesn't support PC anymore.

    I also get the exact same error if I use the VUDU app in Windows 10. Browser and Windows are both up to date. I opened a ticket, but not really expecting an answer considering there were a number of posts I saw that said no one replied. Ticket 20220317-NNYS8T

    Take a look at any extensions you might have installed in your browser. These can at times block the functionality of our website.

      Edge is the only thing I’m aware of that works for HDX on Windows 10.

      i play Vudu while I work 8+ hrs a day with that setup. Or if I don’t care if it’s HDX then I use Chrome, my preferred bowser.

        I have no extensions in Edge at all. Its a clean browser.

        It also has been 7 days since my ticket was submitted with no response.

          I haven’t been able to stream anything on vudu using my roku, pc or laptop since 3/22. It only works on my phone for some reason
          i just get a network error. Nothing on my end has changed

            I’m getting this error on my ps5 and Sony tv Vudu app. Other streaming Services work just fine but nothing plays and I get the same error message as the other guy noted

                  I tried on my laptop with Edge, clean install. Still same error. I'm using Xfinity for my ISP.

                  So its not my systems.

                    Same issue with ChromeCast...starts out playback in HDX then within 5 minutes it will switch to SD.

                    ISP speed maxes out at 250msp up & down which is plenty enough speed and no other streaming service has this issue.

                    We have to use MoviesAnywhere to watch our MA eligible titles but stuck with Vudu to watch non-MA titles including UHD purchases in SD quality...which is unacceptable.

                    FelipeF ...please have someone look into this situation and find a solution for the problem. This would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

                      STILL no reply to my ticket that was opened on the 17th. I'm starting to think that VUDU just doesn't give a crap.

                        Having this same issue. Moonfall purchased in UHD yesterday. Will not play on my Roku TCL TV. Will not play in Edge browser. *WILL* play at whatever standard terrible quality Vudu on Chrome uses now (SD?).

                        Sparklight is my ISP.

                          I don't know if this will help anyone (or ever see this post), but I had two of my 4 Windows 10 PC connected to my home network that refused to play VUDU videos in HDX and I found that I had the display settings set to "duplicate these displays" both PCs have pseudo dual displays (single display connected to both the HDMI and DP outputs on either the video card or the PCs motherboard output and videocard). I switched the multiple display option to display on only 1 monitor (the DP output) and HDX was functional again on both PCs.
