When I was looking to purchase "True Lies", I couldn't find it anywhere in HD so ended up buying an overseas copy on blu-ray disc. I'm hoping that once it upgrades to 4K, all the streaming providers will have the option to purchase. Maybe you're referring to an SD version that Vudu had?

    925 UHD
    848 HDX
    4 SD

I have, according to the VUDU app, 4147 movies and 229 TV shows. I also have DOZENS missing and or are unable to be played. I've gone many rounds with VUDU Customer Support for many years with no luck. I own thousands of DVDs/Blu-rays/4Ks of movies and obsessively buy movies from VUDU regardless if I own them or can stream them for free on the many services I subscribe to. One of the problems is that the purchase history has no method to search it and at times doesn't even provide the titles to movies purchased. This problem has been ongoing since the days of Ultraviolet-Fandango-VUDU.

The only recourse, that I personally have put into practice, is that I've severely curtailed my purchases from VUDU. When I do purchase, I try to buy from Movies Anywhere when possible.
yeah I kind of figured as much lol.. but cant hurt to try...I only have around 3500 movies/200 tv shows on here myself....the majority came from disc2digital or codes....I prioritize buying blurays/4k's before anything digital(I think I'm sitting around 5k or 6k ... hard to tell since filmaf shut down years ago... I purchased dvdprofiler and a barcode scanner... just need to sit down and go through them lol) ...... I'll occasionally buy some things in their 5 dollar deals or I'll buy new releases since they come out so much sooner then disc.....I have my movies anywhere linked with vudu/micosoft/itunes/google play..so at least some of my digital library is backed up on other sites.... Vudu is nice and convenient but their customer support could use some work...

yes it's hard to search the purchase history on vudu... but if you search for whatever movie you've bought in your email its not to hard to find.. then you can just look at the date and search it up that way through vudu's purchase history...

I can not find them in my library. They are gone and I have to buy the new version again.

Mosquito Coast also disappeared from my collection and now for sale again with different cover art. Escalated support is still MIA since late Feb/early March.

For instance let's say that the studio released a newer slightly different version of Bridesmaids to Vudu and decided to stop supporting the unrated extended version. You would still have the old version in your account, but if you used the search function it would only show the new version and it would look like you don't own it or show the version you have but look like you can't play it. BUT if you went to "my movies", sorted in alphabetical order, and scrolled down then when you reached the Bs Bridesmaids would be there and you could watch it just fine.

I noticed this morning that "I love you, Phillip Morris" is on sale. I thought I had it already but it shows I need to buy it again. I went to My Vudu and found it that I have it already and I can play it from there. No special edition but two normal version are coexisting in Vudu space.

I wish that is the case, it is not there. I wish the escalated support would give me some answer on what happened. I was told to be patient because they are too busy, but how many escalated cased are there that my case is not answered for over a month already? Even if they think I am full of it.
