Looks like out of luck because I can tell a difference between the HDR and Dolby Vision and their FAQ says they are the same. No, they aren't HDR10 and HDR10+ is just lower quality to HDR 10 PRO, which it is like Dolby Vision. Higher end TVS have HDR 10 PRO. With as it looks this has been mentioned over 6 months ago, means were not getting Dolby Vision back. Pointless to even show in the movie specs when scrolling down to see 4K of the movie has Dolby Vision and we do not even get it from Fandango at Home. We do not get everything we paid for. Charge us less than for that. OH, AND IT DOES SHOW DOLBY VISION trademark ON THE TOP RIGHT OF SCREEN WHEN MOVIE STARTS, if it actually is working with the movie you stream, because Movies Anywhere does that.

NOTE: Not all movies that have listed with Dolby Vision on Fandango at Home is Dolby Vision on Movies Anywhere has actually less movies with it. Since Fandango at Home won't fix it, it is a BIG 0 on Fandango at Home now.

It may be beneficial to break down what these terms imply for you, so here’s a quick rundown:

      Dolby Vision
Dolby Vision is the proprietary HDR format from Dolby Laboratories, one of the first to appear on TVs alongside HDR10.
Dolby Vision is the most advanced HDR system on today’s market. It supports a theoretical standard brightness of 10,000 nits, making it capable of 12-bit color depth and incredible picture quality, making it the highest quality HDR on the market today.

      HDR10
The HDR10 format was created in a strange collaboration between Sony and Samsung, which you may not be aware of! It is later supported by the PS4 Pro, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X as a format for Blu-ray 4K. It’s a technology that can produce 1,000 nits of brightness and 10-bit color depth.

      HDR10+
The collaboration between Sony and Samsung aims to develop a technology that can match or even surpass Dolby Vision. It simply automatically corrects the contrast from one scene to another by existing only to correct this lack of dynamic color mapping in HDR10. The brightness and color depth values are the same as those of the previous generation, 1000 nits, and 10 bits.

      HLG
HLG is a new technology that the BBC and NHK created. It stands for Hybrid Log-Gamma. It has many benefits, but it mainly focuses on live streaming.

      Advanced HDR
Advanced HDR is a Technicolor technology with three distinct HDR sub-standards.
SL-HDR1: Uses HLG as a base, focusing on TV broadcasts; (compatible with SDR displays)
SL-HDR2: Similar to HDR10+ and Dolby Vision; (contains metadata for dynamic tone mapping)
SL-HDR3: Improved version of SL-HDR1; (introduces metadata for live dynamic tonal adjustment)

HDR Pro (HDR 10 Pro or HLG Pro)
What is HDR Pro, and how does it work? Very simply, it’s LG’s proprietary algorithm for dynamically changing content with or without metadata.
However, on more recent TVs (after 2018 models), as stated earlier, LG no longer employs the phrase HDR Pro to describe HDR 10 Pro or HLG Pro; a number of the specifics of the technologies discussed above have been removed. (HLG does not utilize metadata; meanwhile, HDR 10 may or may not)

Interestingly, LG’s algorithm almost always dismisses data to basically ‘guess’ the best solution depending on what’s going on the screen.

So, basically Dolby Vision is the highest quality, that is why the TVS cost more with it.

I luckily with Hisense having a budget Dolby Vision QLED TV on sale, got it few weeks ago.

EVERYONE WITH THIS FEATURE is just out of luck with Fandango at Home at the moment or it is looking to be forever wait. Haven't they heard, if it isn't broken don't fix it. Now it has to be fixed because they broke it.

Seems to be that companies now a days have a hard time being compassionate and actually fix what is broken.
