    The worst customer service ever

I can't believe how slow these people are. I've been waiting on a 75.00 refund for 6 weeks. I went and put on the parental control like they said, gave them the pin, gave them the date and titles my 5 year old accidentally purchased. Then they just stopped responding, I respond the same day I get messages from them in the support portal so I know it's not closed. Then I sent a brand-new seperate inquiry about what's taking so long with my original one and haven't gotten a response at all! I'm beyond furious and looking to go up the ladder with this. I finally called today instead of customer support email and gave up after being on hold for 20 something minutes. If anybody from VUDU bothers reading this (I doubt it) the reference number is 161220-001121

I'll take a look at your ticket and make sure someone works on it right away, sorry for the delay.

Re: The worst customer service ever

I'm wondering why it takes coming to the forum to ask for help. I guess I'm still bitter that it's been almost two months since Vudu cancelled my preorder then blamed me and constantly asked me to provide proof of purchase when I redeemed a valid redemption code. Last I heard two weeks ago my case was being sent to escalation (again) and the guy who emailed me said they would take care of the issue. Haven't heard anything since. You call customer service and speak with people who can't help you in any way and then say they'll send it to escalation who then do nothing but ask you to jump thru hoops. I had an issue with CinemaNow called their rep who not only listened to my issue but immediately after the call sent me an email with her contact info if their escalation team didn't respond in a reasonable time. Next day escalation gave me a full credit on a TV series and never once asked me to email receipts, pictures of discs and Bluray cases. Seriously I used a redemption slip it placed my movie on preorder then Vudu sent me an email saying when processed my credit card on file would be charged. I wrote back asking why it would be charged when I used a valid redemption slip. They then cancelled my preorder making my code invalid. That was 15 emails, two phone calls and two times referred to escalation with still no resolution or answer.

My question is why does having any issue take so long and make the customer jump thru hoops to get something simple fixed. Five years ago I had a movie that was UV show up on all other sites but never show up on Vudu. I called, I wrote, I complained and to this day I can still watch my movie on other sites but Vudu still won't add the movie for me even though five years ago I sent them screen shots from Ultraviolet showing the movie is UV rated but I just gave up since Vudu refused to admit there was a problem. After so many emails you just throw your hands up in despair and it shouldn't be like this.

It really shouldn't have to be this difficult and luckily I found this forum. I can't imagine how many customers have issues and rely solely on calling or emailing Vudu for help never getting it.
