So if you want to go to some web page for the China Network Communications Group Corporation, you will end up on one of your own devices? I understand why you want to remember your devices but isn't being on the same subnet as your router convenient when you want to go to the admin screen for the router? You could always just remember the last octet and a new subnet prefix.

Why is being on one of the private subnets a problem? You could use a more obscure one line 172 or 127....

Why pick something in public IP address space?

My router is the same subnet as all my devices. It's the Actiontec that is using the default IP addresss 192.168.1.1(or 0.1, I can't remember rightnow)

To get to my routers Admin I enter 221.214.xx.100 just like my devices(except my devices use 101 to 170. To enter the admin of my Actiontec router which is connected to my optical Network Terminal I enter the 192.168.1.1(or 0.1 I can't remember)

Anyway I picked the IP address range twelve years ago and have been using it on my home network since. I've never had any problems using that address range.

I use the same address range at my girlfriends too, so i don't have to remember two address ranges.

unfortunately I havent used Facebook for those purposes. I use it to keep in touch with friends and family mostly. I spend so much time doing other things online, I dont use it much for business. I think Twitter is going to be bigger than Facebook.
