    Streaming VUDU to LG TV

I'm interested in the LG 42 LH50 with "Netcast" and wondered if anyone has used a wireless ethernet adapter to stream Vudu or Netflix?
    Thanks.

    Hi bon3407,

A wireless Ethernet adapter should work fine, for the most part. Was there one in particular you're interested in?

Keep in mind though, for the best performance, a direct wired connection is recommended.

Thanks for the response. I don't have my eye on any adapter in particular... thinking about a power line wireless adapter.
      Any suggestions on which one?
I'm upstairs from the router so hard wire isn't likely.

You can also use our wireless kit or a wireless gaming adapter. For powerline Ethernet adapters I prefer the Linksys, Netgear, or Sling Link. Here are some links for each of them:

        Linksys: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?ur...hernet+adapter

        Netgear: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?ur...hernet+adapter

        Sling: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sling+Me...urbo&cp=1&lp=1

        Hope this helps!

What is the advantage of using your wireless kit versus a wireless power line adapter?

Ultimately, they both accomplish the same thing: send the internet wireless from one point to another. It really depends on your set-up. Wireless is more likely to drop your connection while a power line adapter needs to be on the same circuit. Here's an article from 2009 explaining some differences between the two of them: http://www.techdc.com/powerline-vs-wi-fi

                Hi,

is it possible to connect a lg lh50 tv to the wireless router instead of connecting it directly via the ethernet cable? if so, can you please list the steps or direct me where i can find the details on connecting to the wireless router?

                Thanks so much

You can use a 3rd party router like linksys as a wireless client. The router connects to your wireless network and then you connect the LG TV to the router with your ethernet cable.

I use wireless routers with 3rd party firmware, tomato or dd-wrt work fine as clients...

you may want to read up a bit here:
