    Buffering Nightmare

Trying to stream HDX through a hard-wired Samsung Bluray player with 38000 kbps (not 3800) and the buffering is a nightmare. Even downgrading to HD made the movie unwatchable, so our rental payment was totally wasted. The buffering issues locked up the Bluray player so badly I had to power it off to do anything. Not cool.

Technology is cool. Companies that promise it but fail to deliver are not.

    Nick,

Looking at your last streaming session, it looks like you watched In Time completely without a buffering event. Your streaming session indicates that you were able to pull 3936kbps.

I don't see a streaming session for the HDX Version of more than a few seconds, but you pulled 6800kbps with that session. I applied a refund for the HDX rental. If you continue to see buffering, please give us a call at (888)554-VUDU

        Re: Buffering Nightmare

I submitted a question for support but didn't hear back so I am posting it here

I purchased Game of Thrones Season 1 on Saturday because I figured it would be much easier to watch it through my blu-ray player as opposed to getting the actual blu-ray. I ran the speed test on vudu and it was all green. So I purchased HDX, I've watched the first episode twice now and haven't been able to keep it on HDX at all and watched on Sunday in regular HD. Today we are trying to watch episode 2. We first couldn't get your program to run at all and then after rebooting literally every electronics device I own, got into the app. Now we can't even watch in SD without buffering. Needless to say I am very unhappy. If you have any suggestions I would love to try them. Otherwise I would like a refund of my money and we won't bother you ever again.

        Thanks,
        Tommy
