    Failed to Connect Samsung Blu-Ray

Samsung Blu-Ray M/N BD-C6800 with wireless connection, I repeatedly get a "Failure to Connect to the Network" error message when I select the VUDU icon. Details: Curl Code: 0 More info: Hardware ID: SAMBBC01002399806F2F Device ID: 0x19fefe SW Build #: 87971.

All other options - Netflix, Hulu Plus, CNBC - connect with no problem. I have previously used this device to connect to VUDU, but it has been some time. My VUDU account is up to date. Any help?

Please check to see if there is a firmware update for your device. If there is, download and install it and then try again.

Felipe, I checked for firmware updates and it is current. It still won't connect. Any other suggestions?

I am also having a problem with my Samsung BluRay being unable to stream myVudu movies. When I select Vudu on the player I noticed the app is very slow in responding and Loading.... appears on the screen then after several minutes a message comes up that it appears there is a problem with streaming the movie .

I have Fios Quantum 75/35 Mbps service and the player is connected via ethernet cable and has been updated to the current firmware. I used the Vudu Speedtest to verify my connection speed an it showing 44023 kbps/9594 kbps. Netflix is working without an issue- it loaded and started playing a in less than 30 seconds.

I tried viewing Vudu on my Blu-Ray Player again a few hours later. I noticed after selecting the Widget/App it showed Starting.... then Updating.... Once it connected to Vudu (much quicker this time than previously) I was able to select the movie I wanted from My Movies. I noticed there were some design changes to the screen I clicked to start watching and immediately the movie started in HDX. Hopefully it will continue this way.

My Samsung Blu-ray continues to fail to connect to VUDU, although it connects to all other services. Thinking it was a hardware issue, I installed a ROKU box, set it up, and tried to connect. I get the same thing: all services EXCEPT VUDU connect perfectly. I get the same error message that I got with the Blu-ray, "Failure to connect to the network". I guess it's just not going to work no matter what. Too bad. I used to like using VUDU. But I'm moving on to Amazon Instant and M-GO.

My Samsung Blu-ray (BD-EM57) with wireless isn't connecting either. All other apps are working exactly how they should. When I click the Vudu icon on the smart hub, it says connecting and then stays in the black and blue "loading" screen, freezing my device and prompting me to reboot. I haven't used it since last week and it was working flawlessly then. Are there new updates to either my device or the Vudu application that I'm unaware of?

                    Regards,
                    Ceaira

Depending on how your device is currently set-up, usually every time your device connects to the internet, it checks for the latest firmware. You can do this manually by checking the settings for your device. You will need to refer to your owners manual on how to do this if you don't already know how to.
