I'm not totally up on it. But I believe it's four ichanneels to support 2 DVR's or 4 standard receivers, or combinations thereof. (4 Tuners)

...I finally got to try it out with my DirecTV setup. And it doesn't work .

My direcTV box wouldn't receive anything once I put the first moca adapter in.

MOCA runs in the satellite bands so you will have a problem with direct tv I believe that it says something like that on the Netgear webpage.

I have been using HomePlugAV Powerline networking and have been getting great performance out of them. I use the Netgear XAVB101 products. I noted that a user said he did not do well with Powerline. I would suggest that they look at the devices as Netgear also have a UPA powerline version that I tried before the HomePlugAV and they just sucked.

I wanted to go to MOCA on the promise of higher bandwidth but when I tried to use them in my 50 year old home they would not even connect. THey may work well on the newer homes but I had to return my set back to Amazon
