Another Ticket In for Buffering Issues

Again I am back to VUDU for buffering issue. However it seems that it is only happening with newly released content and only purchased content not rentals. This leads me to believe that it is either a ISP CDN server/connection issue for new content(ie, bad/overloaded hardware) or Vudu's CDN servers/connection issue for new content purchases.

I can rent movies and play them back with no issues at all. If I purchase a movie (ie, Purchase a license to play ti back on my account) IT fails to play 9/10 times. I have to constantly restart the movie to get it to play. This is becoming tedious. I have an Itunes account and when I purchase or rent from them I have no issues at all playing the movies, either by downloading or streaming.

I know this is not my hardware/software as everything else works.

This might be a new issue this time. I am not sure. however I know to get things fixed you have to grease the wheel per se (ie complain or pay). So I am here again and I have submitted a ticket.

Do you use Cable internet or Fiber/dsl if you use cable unplug your modem leave it unplugged 5-10 minutes if you do that you will get a new Ip address i have found that if i do that when i have buffering problems it fixes it.

It is cable and Comcast generally assigns IP via MAC address on the first device it sees on client side. If you change the MAC you will get a new ip instantly. That still does not help still get the same error. I have tried this, but thank you for suggesting it.

Do you have a ticket going, or a previous ticket for buffering that we can start with?
