    Rooted System

I just purchased a generic android tablet. It operating with Android 10.
My VUDU app installs fine and opens as well, however when I try to view one of my movies it all but opens then I get a message that tells my video won't play because my system is rooted. My Amazon movies play fine.
I have over 1,510 private movies and over 130 television shows. My new tablet is a 11" screen I bought especially to enjoy my VUDU library while away?y from home.
I have no idea what rooted means, and I don't know how or if it can be resolved.
Anybody who can help I would be greatful.

Generic android devices do not meet the mandated requirements (Digital Rights Management) determined by the movie studios to allow our app to be used on them.

It allows the ability to bypass many security settings.

It all depends on the service and the device. My work laptop which is behind a VPN (Virtual Private Network) let's me play Amazon, Netflix, Vudu but Hulu HAS A FIT. Even if I disable the VPN Hulu still isn't happy.

You're having a similar issue with your rooted Android device and Vudu obviously. You could try and install an unrooted version, but good luck. Better off returning it and buying something from a non off brand.
