Adobe Air controls

I used my MacBook on the train last weekend to watch a movie with my daughter during our train ride, and I was a little frustrated by the lack of controls on the Adobe Air player.

First, the movie hung at one point, and I couldn't even force quit, I had to reboot the computer. But that time and the time I closed the player to change some preferences the player didn't bookmark the spot where we had stopped watching the movie. That's such a basic feature of so many players; I hope that can be added.

What I'd like to see even more are keyboard controls. The space bar didn't work to toggle play/pause, and there didn't seem to be any keyboard shortcuts to rewind or fast forward. In fact, the only control I had skipped to the very beginning or end of the movie; I had to drag the little marker around the progress bar to find the point in the movie where we had left off. The space bar and the left/right arrow keys (for rew/ff) would be a huge improvement.

(I'm aware that, just as equipment manufacturers rely on Vudu for the basic version/API to create product-specific versions of the Vudu app, Vudu may rely heavily on Adobe's basic player and may not be able to adapt it too much, but that would be nice to know for sure.)

Also, if anyone out there has the VuduToGo player on their PC, I'd be curious if the experience is any different.

I'll test it in a few minutes, I thought it had hotkey functionality, at least spacebar for pause/play.

Come on CFF...problem solved, well, at least for WinPC users.

Edit: No hotkey control of VuduToGo on WinPC, not even spacebar.

Well, the bad news is you have to suffer along with Mac users...but the good news is, since the feature does not exist on any platform, maybe they'll be more motivated to add it.

Dan, Jake, anyone from Vudu, is this something that Vudu could do, or are you completely at the mercy of Adobe on this?

Wow, can't believe after 5 years this problem has not been solved or at least reported as such. In this forum someone mentioned problem solved for PC, but I see no solution posted and I'm having the same issues as the Mac user. NO keyboard controls for Adobe Air while playing VuDU movies that have been downloaded. If anyone "has" the solution I would greatly appreciate learning of it.
