That tablet comes with Honeycomb on it. We do not support that version of android OS. It must be 4.0 or higher.

I have the same tablet. It meets your minimum requirements including the Android 4.1.2 OS and min of 2 GB Ram. Therefore your answer to this person's question is wrong. Why the app won't download, I don't know. However, there appears to be a work around involving Firefox and Adobe Flash. But this work around is only making trailers of the videos I own avaliable.

According to Samsung, Vudu should work with this tablet. So a fix somewhere is needed.

Actually, the requirements have changed since we revamped the Android app late last year. It now requires Android OS 4.3 among other hardware requirements (CPU, screen resolution, WideVine DRM, etc.). This tablet is simply outdated I'm afraid.

Does the VUDU app on Android check the specs of the device it runs on, or it checks a list of approved devices? I have an 8" Chuwi Hi8 Pro Tablet with Android 5.1, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, 1920x1200 screen, quad core CPU, etc as shown HERE l. Yet the latest version of the VUDU Android app says that device can only play movies in SD (I own HDX copies in my UltraViolet/VUDU library). Is there an explanation for that?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Never mind. Using the DRM Info app that Felipe mentioned in another thread, I found that the Chuwi tablet only has WideVine DRM level 3 and can't do HD/HDX.
