First time trying to watch movies on Vudu. The following error is received and I have spent hours trying to find out how to fix it:

Oops! This movie won't play on your display due to copyright restrictions. It can be played only if both your output and display support HDCP. [#3342]

From other posts I have learned its a copy protection issue. I'm trying to watch on my PC, Windows 7Pro on Google Chrome. I have a Samsung monitor connected with HDMI. I installed the only driver available from Samsung for my monitor, dated 2007, the monitor is HDCP compliant. I also reset the flash content licenses and restarted the browser.

Now I discover that my ATI Radeon x700 video card was part of a class action may not be HDCP compliant: http://www.gpureview.com/do-you-qual...ticle-800.html - unfortunately I never heard about it back then so no claim was submitted and I was not given a replacement.

I'm posting this now for two reasons:

1) In case anyone else runs into this - I could not find any info anywhere about 3342
2) To ask if anyone knows if there is a way around this or am I pretty much just SOL until I buy a new card?

Card works fine otherwise. Buying a new card for this old machine doesn't make a lot of sense. Machine is almost as old as the card and not going to be replaced anytime soon as I am not home much to use it. So if anyone has a way around this issue, I'd love to hear it. Thank you in advance.
