Same deal and exact same message here. I have a Mac Mini (Late 2012) OS 10.14.5 connected to an LG TV. Been a little while since trying to watch a vudu movie on that computer but it was working fine last time I did. I get the error message using Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Only one window/tab open and only one of those programs open each time I tried.

I selected the Update Driver option in Device Manager and navigated to the appropriate drivers I downloaded from BenQ's website for both monitors and without even needing a restart I was able to watch my movies in HD! Thanks Nick G from Vudu support!

Figured I would post here publicly in case anyone else were to be searching for a solution to a similar problem someday.
This was exactly my issue also. It took all of about 2 minutes to solve:
      • Open Device Manager
      • Expand Monitors and see if your actual monitors are listed. If they show PNP or a Generic monitor, check for a driver for that monitor. (I have 2 Acer V246HL and there was a driver for them)
      • Install the driver for your specific monitor and it should show the actual monitor in the tree once they are installed.
After updating the drawings, the monitors show my physical monitors and it now works with Vudu directly.

Anyway, here's the spec u asked.
Windows 10 Desktop PC. RTX 2080 Ti. 2 monitors with HDCP enabled.
I just received the HDCP error. I had Netflix open on a second tab in Firefox (not playing anything). All I did was close the Netflix tab and VUDU started working again. Using Windows 10 with latest Firefox browser 72.0.1 64-bit. Thanks for the tip that you can't have Netflix and VUDU open in your browser at the same time.

This is what I did to fix this for me on a windows 10 desktop using the latest version of chrome:
1)Go to Chrome Settings-Advance Settings-System. DeSelect Use hardware acceleration when available.
          2) Monitor manufacturer. Mine is BenQ. So I went to BenQ site and fetched the specific driver for windows 10.
          3) Restart Chrome

HDCP error in Chrome and Brave. I found that my monitor in Device Manager said Generic Pnp monitor. I right clicked it and chose "update" and it found a specific driver for that monitor. HDX resolution immediately worked once the driver was updated. I didn't even need to restart the browser.

The bad part of this is that it appears when ANY of your monitors are not HDCP compliant you can't watch HD content on ANY monitor.

For example, I have two 25" Dell QHD monitors that are compliant. But, because of COVID-19 and working from home I pulled out an old USB-3 AOC monitor that is not HDCP compliant and plugged it in for extra real estate. Because that 1366x768 USB monitor was added to the mix I can't watch content anywhere. I did not expect that.

If I unplug the USB-3 monitor, HD playback will start. When I plug it back in, playback stops.

I think this type of situation is causing a lot of people to run into this issue.
